Ann Victor and Sartartia Orchestra
Ann Victor is the Director of Sartartia SMS orchestra, one of the American’s outstanding Youth Orchestra, for 6 years. While at Sartartia, Ms. Victor’s orchestra has been ranked in the top six orchestras in the Texas. Sartartia orchestras, has performed at The most prestigious International Band and Orchestra Festival, the Midwest Clinic in Chicago, Recently, received first place in the American National School Orchestra Association National Conference.
Ms. Victor graduated from Interlochen Arts Academy, in Interlochen, Michigan, earned Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Music Performance from Kent State University in Ohio, and completed coursework towards the DMA in Cello Performance from The University of Texas at Austin, Texas, studying under famous Cello performer and orofessor, Phyllis Young while working with Ms. Young.
Ms.Victor has been an orchestra conductor in different school and Youth orchestras
Ms. Victor is a member of the American String Teachers Association, Orchestra Directors Association, The National Musicians’ Union and Music Teachers National Association. She serves as an adjudicator and clinician throughout the state of Texas. Besides being a conductor in the Sartartia orchestra, she also the co-conductor of the String Orchestra of the Houston Youth Symphony.
Crystal Plohman, the famous American fiddler
A veteran professional performer, educator, Crystal Plohman, this vibrant young woman began her musical training at the age of 6 in the Suzuki violin program at Brandon University, Canada. Having grown up in a musical household with a fiddling champion for a father, she quickly progressed in both the classical and folk music scene. At age 7, Crystal began competing in weekend fiddling competitions across the continent. Before she was 13, Crystal won her first Canadian national competition and released two solo recordings. She studied classical piano in the Royal Conservatory of Music program and developed her ear as an accompanist at weekly fiddle competitions. In 18 years of North America competition, Crystal won hundreds of awards and titles including American Tennessee state Fiddler competition, and international Fiddler competitions. She was the only person to place as a top four finalist at both the Canadian and American Grand Masters Competitions.
Based in Nashville, Tennessee, home of American country music, Crystal has worked with the city’s top musicians including Vassar Clements, Buddy Spicher, Mark O’Connor, Bela Fleck and the legendary Chet Atkins. She appeared in a performer in American Most popular television, CBS primetime television special on the 70th Anniversary of the Grand Ole Opry, where she shared the stage with Alison Krauss, Ricky Skaggs, Marty Stuart, and Vince Gill. Chrystal Plohman has published many records in American. She, besides performing in all over United states, she also toured and famous in Norway, England, Ireland, Japan, France, Mexico and other countries all over the world.
Besides American country music, Scottish Ireland music, her unique performing style also included a starring role in the Celtic celebration, American Bluegrass legend that will bring the Chinese audience the fresh tats and real enjoyment by Crystal Plohman, the famous American Fiddler and her diversified talents
